Dr. Whitehead
Dr. Whitehead is grateful to be here in Excelsior Spring to provide dental care to this community. For the past 11 years Dr. Whitehead has been treating the underserved populations in northwestern Missouri and southeastern Iowa and loved helping those patients to increase their oral health and to become more successful in life.
Dr. Whitehead grew up in the deserts and mountains of southeastern Utah. He studied Biochemistry as the College of Eastern Utah and Utah State University before moving to the midwest for dental school. He received his dental degree from the University of Iowa.
Dr. Whitehead loves spending time with his wife Jessica and their four children (Noah, Ethan, Joelle, and Evelyn) Together they love going to Smithville Lake, watching movies, and traveling.
Dr. Weeden
Dr. Weeden grew up in northwest Iowa in the small town of Estherville. She got her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Kansas State University. After college, she attended dental school at the University of Iowa, graduating with a DDS degree. Dr. Weeden is an avid Kansas State fan and enjoys watching football, baking, gardening, and hitting the local trails in her free time.
Dr. Findley
Dr. Findley grew up in Cameron, Missouri with his mom, sister, and grandparents.
He went to undergrad at UMKC, and stayed there for dental school.
Jake enjoys walking trails around Kansas City and wherever he can find them when he’s visiting new places. Spending time outdoors is what he tries to do whenever the weather is nice, and sometimes even when it’s not.
Dr. Findley loves cooking new recipes and finding ways to use interesting ingredients. He gets really excited about new cookware and learning new techniques.
Jake has a cat named Crookshanks, who always knows when it’s time to get up and have breakfast, even on weekends.
He spends any spare time with his girlfriend, Gabby, or with his friends and family. Video games are also a big pastime because he usually gets to socialize while playing them.
Dr. Findley is very excited to be a part of Excelsior Springs Family Dentistry and has already had many great interactions with his patients and team here. Dr. Findley is looking forward to many more.
